Agro Research centre Established and managed by Dr Dilipkumar Mahadik, at Bhagad in 2015 June, In the fond memory of his late Parents (late Narayan Mahadik - warrior of WWII and Late Sau Parvatibai). This centre doubles up as research centre as well as educational and Eco-Agro tourism centre. It has a huge collection of cultivated and naturally growing wild plants and local medicinal plants. Various Agricultural activities are being carried out here. It encourages sustainable development. The entire area runs on solar power with sparing use of diesel where its unavoidable. Spwralling over 15 acre land, this DMARC poses as an excellent site for camping as well. Kundalika river being just 5 km away is easily accessible for white water drafting activities.
Site Location: 150 km from Mumbai. Take left turn after Kolad when coming from mumbai, drive along Pune road for 14 km and again turn to right to move along kaccha (non -tar road) road to reach to DMARCH just behind Empower Activity center (1km from main road).
From Pune its hardly 100Km. Get down to Konkan (Vile Village) after driving along beautiful Mulsi dam. From Vile turn to right, drive towards Mumbai Goa Highway. After 9 Km just before you enter Kuldi village take left turn, drive along kachha road to the camp site.
